To keep your Poshmark account safe and give you total peace of mind, the Flyp sharer has a recommended share limit of 6,000 - 8000 item shares per day. This limit is recommended to help avoid excessive sharing and mitigate Poshmark's 24-hour sharing restriction, known as "Share Jail."
What is Share Jail?
Poshmark limits accounts (nicknamed Share Jail) that take too many actions in a short period, like sharing 10,000 times in one day or sharing excessively several days in a row. You'll know if you're in Share Jail if your Sharer activity log says "Poshmark has temporarily limited your ability to share your closet" and you're unable to share directly on Poshmark.
This is not a permanent restriction and you can still list, make offers, and take other listing-related actions on your account.
We recommend waiting a few hours (sometimes up to 12 hours) and trying to share directly on Poshmark again. If you can successfully share on Poshmark then you can come back to the tools to update your share settings.
Why 6,000 shares?
We've tested many limits over the last three years and have found that capping shares at 6,000 items per 24-hour period results in the fewest number of users experiencing a Poshmark hold. The number of 'safe' shares you can do depends on the size of your closet, how old your Poshmark account is, your account status, and how you use the bot.
How can I avoid Share Jail?
Be natural! Share in a way that seems natural and human-like to avoid holds on your account. You'll also want to vary the number of shares you send occasionally. We have a few examples below to illustrate what 'natural' sharing might look like...
1) You have an active 3-year-old closet with 600 listings. You've set your sharer to fast sharing, 10 times per day at 1-hour intervals.
2) You have a newer closet with 50 listings and 3 sales. You've set your sharer to slow sharing, 12 times per day at 1-hour intervals.
