The Auto-Sync feature automatically checks all connected marketplaces for new items that haven’t been imported yet to ensure your inventory is in sync with Flyp at all times. It works behind the scenes, so users don’t need to take any action.
How it works:
During the initial sync, Flyp goes through all your listings from all marketplaces, past and present, as if it clicked “Import All Items” on your behalf. This ensures everything is properly synced, and any broken URLs are updated.
This also ensures that if a listing link breaks on a platform due to a relist or onsite edit, Flyp will update the listing URL so you have a seamless experience with delisting, relisting, and marking items as sold.
After the initial sync, it will continue monitoring future listings and relistings on marketplaces to keep your Flyp items in sync. You will see this pop up when Flyp is working on syncing your Flyp items with your listings.
When does Flyp check for new items?
- When a user opens the website
- When a user clicks on “My Items”
- When a user navigates back to “My Items” from a form
- When a user clicks the import button in “My Items”
- When a user imports a new item from the form
- After successfully connecting a marketplace
- When a user refreshes any page
This feature is being slowly released to all users. There is no action required on your part. If you have any questions, we’re here to help!
