This error occurs when Mercari declines to list an item due to an account issue. This could be as simple as an expired credit card or it could be another level of security check that Mercari is requiring for your account.
To fix this error:
- Go directly to Mercari.com on your laptop (not in the app) and list the exact same item you previously received an error on.
- Mercari will notify you of any payment method or account issues when you go to list this item.
- Follow the prompts to update or add your payment information.
Once this has been completed on the Mercari website you'll no longer see the credit card error when you attempt to list items in Reseller Tools.
